Scott County Hospital is offering free American Heart Association CPR, first aid, and AED training for the citizens, businesses, and organizations of Scott County.  We will customize an education program designed for you or your organization’s specific needs.  The programs offered by the American Heart Association include:

·           American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers – appropriate healthcare professionals and staff of healthcare facilities (hospitals, nursing homes, doctor and dental offices)

·           AHA Heartsaver courses (includes CPR, first aid, and/or AED use) – appropriate for camp counselors, police, firefighters, teachers, day-care providers, others who want or need CPR, AED, and first aid training and require certification.

·           AHA Family and Friends courses (includes CPR, first aid, and/or AED use) – appropriate for families with children, babysitters, neighbors, members of volunteer groups, college-dorm resident assistants, or anyone who wants to learn CPR and first aid and do not require a certification card.

If individuals or organizations are interested in this lifesaving training opportunity contact Thea Beckman, Shelley Harvey, or Isidro Morales at Scott County Hospital.  620-872-5811.

This community education program is made possible by a generous grant from the Scott Community Foundation.
