RN & CNA's

Scott County Hospital- Provider Extender Opportunity- PA or ARNP:
Practice in a beautiful spacious 69,000 square foot Replacement Hospital opening May 2012.
Join a progressive organization and work with 4 family practice physicians, 1 PA, in provider based Rural Health Clinic and CAH Hospital. Full service hospital including:  med/surg, acute care, obstetrics, LDRP’s, swing beds, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography, PT, OT, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, home health, DME store,  ER, cardiac rehab, mobile MRI, 14 specialty outpatient clinics; call coverage is 1:4.  Total compensation including benefits will exceed $100,000.  Send resumes or inquiries to Karma Huck, COO, Scott County Hospital, 310 East Third Street, Scott City, Kansas 67871, 620-872-7711, or karmah@scotthospital.net.

 

Part time Recover Room RN.  Hours will vary depending on surgery load. Typically will not start before 8:00 am and will usually be done by 2:00 p.m.  Applicants must have good assessment skills.  Duty consists of monitoring surgery patient’s post-op, administering pain medication if needed, and maintaining safety and comfort.  Interested applicants must be able to move patient via gurney from recovery room to patient room.  This position requires some lifting and transferring of patients from gurney to bed.  We offer competitive wages and excellent benefits.  Pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, physical assessment and TB skin test required.  Scott County Hospital is a tobacco free facility.   Applications available through Human Resources, Scott County Hospital, 310 East 3rd, Scott City, KS  67871.  620-872-7796 or on our website at www.scotthospital.net.  Return completed applications to Human Resources.  Internal Applications available to current staff.
