Scott County Hospital Human Resource Department is currently staffed by Pam Wheeler, HR Coordinator, Sunni Smyth, Payroll Specialist/ HR Assistant, and Ruth Dunn, HR Clerk. The role Human Resources serves at Scott County Hospital is diverse while centrally focused on staff and staff development. HR develops employment policies and practices, coordinates orientation and on-boarding of new staff, establishes compensation practices, and administers employee benefits and retirement plan. Payroll is also a function of the department as well as recruitment and retention, work comp administration and other employee training and services. Human Resources is committed to striving to facilitate communication and improve employee human relations and work performance.

Scott County Hospital is a 25 bed, acute/skilled care, Critical Access Hospital. Our hospital and medical clinic are staffed by 3 Family Practice Physicians, 3 Mid-Levels and 2 Nurse Anesthetists. Other departments include: Obstetrical, Surgery, Radiology, Out-Patient Rehabilitation Services, Emergency Medical Services, and Home Health.
