Ladies' Auxiliary
We are called the "Pink Ladies" as we wear pink colored jackets when volunteering.
We deliver mail and flowers to the patients and provide "welcome" gifts for new babies. We create holiday cards that are given to patients with their meal trays. The hospital also has a lot of paper that needs to be shredded each day and that can keep us busy.
We currently have 21 regular and 6 substitute volunteers but are always in need of new members so we can keep the time slots filled. We try to keep the front desk staffed M-F, 9-11 a.m. and 2 hr. shifts between 1 and 5 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering but can not be full time, subs are always welcome. Please contact Velda Riddiough at 874-2040.
Dues are $5.00 per year, which is used to buy equipment. We have only 2 meetings a year to keep in touch with what we can do to improve our roll in the hospital.

Scott County Hospital is a 25 bed, acute/skilled care, Critical Access Hospital. Our hospital and medical clinic are staffed by 3 Family Practice Physicians, 3 Mid-Levels and 2 Nurse Anesthetists. Other departments include: Obstetrical, Surgery, Radiology, Out-Patient Rehabilitation Services, Emergency Medical Services, and Home Health.
