Biography


Thea Beckman, APRN-C, is a native of Scott City. She received her MSN in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Thea spent 25 years as an RN, gaining experience in labor and delivery, newborn care, emergency care, medical and surgical nursing, and infection control and prevention.
Thea is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the AANP. She is also a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) instructor, a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) instructor, an American Heart Association BLS instructor, and an ANCC certified lactation counselor.
Thea and her husband of 33 years, John, have three daughters and son-in-laws: Shalea & Lester Bose, Bethany & Matt Ludwikosky, and Caitlin and Jordan Dahlke. They also have three grandchildren.
In her free time, Thea enjoys reading, sewing, gardening, outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, and spending time with family.
