Health Information Coder-Inpatient-$2000 Sign on Bonus
Scott County Hospital has an opening for a Health Information Coder with 2 years experience. This is a 40 hour per week, M-F position. The Health Information Coder reviews clinical documentation and diagnostic results as appropriate to extract data and apply appropriate codes for billing, internal and external reporting, research, and regulatory compliance. Under the direction of the Health Information Director, outpatient conditions and procedures are accurately coded as documented in the ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting. Adherence to the healthcare organization’s information privacy practices. Direct inpatient coding experience and completion of a certified coding program required.
