Darice is a registered and licensed dietitian who grew up on a farm outside of Rozel, KS. She attended Kansas State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
To complete the requirements as a dietitian, she trained at North Kansas City Hospital for several months where she worked with a variety of conditions including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, kidney disease, bariatrics, autoimmune disorders, allergies/intolerances/sensitivities, obesity, malnutrition, digestive health, gastrointestinal issues, tube feeding, high blood pressure, and more.
Darice is available to provide individual and group counseling while building personalized nutrition plans to help improve health. At an appointment, she will complete a full assessment to understand goals, lifestyle, schedule, and food preferences. Her objective is to help individuals create a plan that works for them to reasonably achieve their goals through evidence-based practice.
Darice now lives in Scott City, KS and looks forward to serving the community. Some of Dariceâs hobbies include hiking, kayaking, powerlifting, playing board games, playing Pitch, and taking motorcycle trips. Some of her personal goals include becoming a certified personal trainer, a certified diabetes educator, and receiving a Masterâs in Sports Nutrition.
